It’s marked on my calendar. I’ll be rushing to Best Buy the Tuesday it comes out. No Bill Ward is not a deal-breaker for me.

If BW didn't want to play in Sabbath anymore, that's is his SILLY demon:) !!! And I DO NOT believe it was Tony and the other "boys" who didn't try to find a solution...not ONE little bit!!!

Crazy talk. For one Ward is much better, much more dynamic, much more original and way more influential drummer than Vinnie ever was. Appice is good but Ward is up there with Bonham. Secondly…..why would you not believe Ward is being upfront about the circumstances around him not playing with Sabbath? Based on what we know about the Osbournes and Iommi's own problems……its totally believable.

I haven't got into any of the "new" Sabbath. Nothing since Mob Rules and thats got only 3 songs I like. I agree with Bill Ward being hundreds of miles beyond Vinnie in the influential drumming department. Some of the old Sabbath is made extremely cool with his jazz stylizations. To me, he is way better. This sooo RULES!!!! youtu.be/vSIigqc_sDM

You have the Osbournes who seem to clearly be running this circus show and you refer to Ward as money hungry? Where do you get that? Every interview I have ever seen Ward do he has been very humble…..and he doesn't need to be.

The ONLY reason why Ward didn't get back to Sabbath is because he wanted more $$$ and NOT because Tony and the band didn't want him in. Period.

I just read were Sabbath is gonna concentrate on early material during their upcoming tour. What? So that Ozzy can bend over the telestrator and still not no the lyrics?? I have ZERO respect for him anymore. What a joke.

Howerver, we must say that a Sabbath album is always a Sabbath album and something to look up to (except Never Say Die of course:) :

I am as diehard as it gets when it comes to Sabbath. But I am disappointed it isn't the original line up. In my opinion Iommi's riffs sound so much better with a Geezer & Ward rhythm section complimenting him. That said I do dig what I am hearing.
BTW Appice is a badass drummer in his own right.

I read that the reason they moved on without Ward was becaus of Tony's cancer. After seeing Dio die so quickly, Tony felt like he was "one the clock" and wanted to get the album out asap. He felt if they waited for Ward to agree to a contract, he might be dead by then.

Yeah, after weeks of petty speculation on this matter, it seems that Tony rushed Ward to start the project...asap....you know how we say: "Here today.....gone tomorrow"
