Dokken had three GREAT albums in the 80s (Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key and Back for the Attack). Their first one, Breaking the Chains, had the title track and 1 or 2 other good tracks...but that's it.
Then, for the next 25 years, they turned out crap album after crap album. Their new one, Broken Bones, is...sadly "eh." BUT the good news is: The opening track "Empire" could have fit right on Tooth and Nail. So, if this is their last album (as rumored), at least they left us with one last good song...

Rumor is Don Dokken has formed a new band with Michael Schenker. This would be interesting.

I was kind of psyched when I seen this album but I totally agree with you Space. I was disappointed with it.
Frank that could be a good duo but I can't see those two last more than one album together if even that with their egos
