Black Country Communion- Afterglow
Even though the new album by Black Country Communion - Afterglow doesn't come out until Tuesday October 30th I received my copy yesterday (thanks to BCC's website) What a fantastic album! Defiantly my new number one album of 2012. Its sad to think that this maybe this bands last album. The album starts off with the killer riff of Big Train. If that riff doesn't grab you from the start, the riff of This Is Your Time will. The tracks Confessor & Cry Freedom beg to be played live (this is why they cant break up). Joe Bonamassa really tears it up these two tracks as well as the whole album. His ending solo during Common Man is fantastic & hearkens back to good ole days album by Led Zep, Deep Purple & Free. If you're a fan of any of these 3 bands you will like this album. Great guitar playing, and the fantastic vocals of Glenn Hughes highlight Afterglow & make it my album of the year.
