I saw Seether open for Audioslave and was very bored. I hate most of this kinda music. To me, it all has little to no dynamic. Although, there is one song by Chevelle I don't mind...2002's Comfotable Liar. At least Chevelle has a little bit of a "Tool-Sound" to them.
Of all these kinda bands (excluding Nickelback..cuz they are just the worst of the worst), Shinedown is prob my least favorite.

Never heard of Chevelle. I like a few Seether songs. I saw a "Guitar Center Sessions" of Seether. It was entertaining, but it didn't really make me yearn for more Seether in my music collection either.

Okay Ill say why Im into these bands
Seether- A poor mans Nirvana. And everyone knows I HATE Nirvana. Dont know what it is about these guys doing the same thing, but I like it. Their latest 2011,s Holding To Stings Better Left To Fray... was one of my fave albums of 2011. Great song writing IMO
Chevelle- A more consise version of Tool ( a band that I love by way] Their songs last about 3 mins 30 seconds and something about that I like.
Those are my reasons for being into both bands a lot lately.
