Phil Lewis of LA Guns recently commented that Motley Crue were boring to him. With that some fans took the Sludge story and of course sent it to Mr. Sixx via what else, but Twitter. So with that comment Nikki Sixx tweeted a reply about Phil. See the exchange below. Jeff Lantry þ@BoomSlide @nikkisixx Phil Lewis talking smack about Motley, must have a new album to promote LOL! #jealousmuch? www.metalsludge.tv/home/index.ph ... &Itemid=42 Nikki Sixx þ@NikkiSixx @boomslide ah, he's a sad lil pumpkin... Now Phil has fired back at Sixx again with the following: Nikki Sixx’s Heroin Diaries read: ‘LSD. They all have. Lead Singer Disease.’ Would you say it’s true? Does a singer need that big an ego? I say Nikki Sixx and his Heroin Diaries are a total fraud, Anyone that was ever addicted to Smack or any opiates knows not to glorify addiction its incredibly irresponsible. It's total crap as well, Nikki may have dabbled a little but him and most of the dinosaur rockstars of that era were doing tons of blow or cocaine. There was very little heroin in LA in the 80s compared to London. Sixx was a teenage millionaire with a very thin grasp on reality. I don't give a fuck what he thinks about me or any singers. And I do know excatly what I'm talking about what cities had the most drugs coz I did lots in both. But I don't glorify it or complain I was sucked into coz of an unhappy childhood. Teaching people that heroin is cool is reprehensible especially if its a work of fiction. Oh and if I ever needed another reason to dislike Sixx his version of "Anarchy in the UK" is a good start. Phil Lewis / LA Guns ......................... Well sorry to inform you Mr. Lewis, if you read the book, you would know that even though its called "The Heroin Diaries", Nikki Sixx's drug of choice was smoking blow. Like the time he was freebasing and saw little green men coming over his fence or the time he was sitting on his couch and got so messed up that he missed a gig. Its all in there. If you would like to read it, I am sure that you can find it online.

Funny that this one comes up as I am currently reading this book on the Kobo reader that I recently purchased as it was one of the 4000 free books that came along with it. My wife had read it awhile back in book form but told me that Tommy Lee's book was the better of the two??? So far, into about 60 pages or so, I realize that the guy was pretty much fucked since the day that the Crue hit the ground running? Can't remember the last time I spent xmas eve in my closet? Should be a good read though. On a side note, and not to take away from this thread, but if anyone gets the chance to read MacKenzie Phillips book...check it out. Now there's a tell all and interesting read about not only her crazy life but rock history as well. Well written and quite informative. Thanks Kim

The Herion Diaries is an amazing book. I wouldnt call it a work of fiction. And yes he did a lot of herion. Of course it's fiction. Every story that comes out of Sixx's mouth about his almighty drug intake is taken from the very same stories that Richards & Perry were telling in the 70's. Nixxi Sixx has been full of bullshit ever since he appeared with his Godawful band. Bands such as Skynyrd (original line-up), The Stones, Aerosmith & Led Zeppelin make Crue & all that other L.A. nonsense look like choirboys.

Pretty harsh. Dang.
I think there's some excellent rock'n roll on Nikki's album.
Plus, his songs have a theme of recovery from addiction and they're helping a lot people. I think he's building a whole new legacy and it's a positive one.

I don't think anyone is gonna lie about shooting heroin in their dick. I don't think anyone is gonna lie about walking around naked in their yard at night because they have drug induced psychosis from doing too much blow. Why would anyone tell people that? Oh I forgot, to make themselves look good? The guy did do massive amounts of drugs. He even has witnesses that confessed themselves about him and the Crue. They were actually there. Were you?

Hey Kim...what did you think of the Herion Diaries? Hi Frank, Hope yer feeling well buddy and that all is good. I'm still going through the book as I try and do a few pages every night or so. For some reason this book just hasn't grabbed me like some of the others that I've went through on the "Kobo"? It is like a diary, and it appears to me, to be quite truthfull and as Blue Cheer mentioned, "who's gonna shoot heroin into their dick" and lie about it? Too many others in the book to substantiate the ongoing antics that Mr. Sixx went through back in the 80's that makes it plausible in my mind. Let's face it, these days, the shit that he did seems harmless compared to guys chopping up body parts, eating a persons face off or even shooting your own population such as they are doing in Syria as of late as the world watches on CNN and YouTube? Hey Frank, I'll give you a better synopsis of what I thought once the book has been read in its entirety. So far...it's pretty interesting, but as I mentioned previously, my wife read both that one and Tommy Lee's tome and she said that the latter was the best. What strikes me as spooky, is just what these celebs seem to go through during their 15 minutes of fame and it makes me curious to hear further about those that never came out with a bio to any extent and instead decided to keep things to themselves. Back to Nikki, it's obvious that the guy had a lot of demons to deal with from the get go, yet turned the fear into something that the average person would have used to better themselves instead of self destructing all the way through his fame in the way that he did. Take care of yourself Frank...we need you here... Thanks Kim
