I’ve been listening to Ian Anderson’s Thick as a Brick 2 for a few weeks (I think it’s quite good), and it got me thinking… How many albums have had sequels? And are there any that are better than the original?
Sequels I can think of:
Thick as a Brick 2- Jethro Tull/ Ian Anderson Operation Mindcrime II- Queensryche A Day at the Races- Queen Welcome 2 My Nightmare- Alice Cooper
Hmm….I feel like I am missing a lot.

Keeper Of The Seven Keys -Helloween Part 1 was good, Part 2 was the better, part 3 was pointless.
Bat Outta Hell-Meatloaf Wasn't too into the first one, second was pretty good though. I never heard the third.

I just remembered Elton John's 2006 The Captain and the Kid. A pretty good CD...AND it has one of his best songs EVER- "Blues Never Fade Away."
