Very cool, SPEEDY!!! My friends and I had great time rockin' out to some of those kick-ass tunes in Santa Rosa California on Feb. 9th Michael performed wonderfully and Robin McAuley can sing like it's nobody's business. SUPER-DUPER SHOW!

Was going to go see him a few years back. He was playing at Shank Hall here in Milwaukee named after Shank Hall from Spinal Tap but he canceled.

MS and Uli Jon Roth are 2 of the ones who didn't sell themselves out like Scorpions did !!!!

MS and Uli Jon Roth are 2 of the ones who didn't sell themselves out like Scorpions did !!!! If you're bagging on their commercial success, I don't get it. Ulrich "Uli" Roth retired after a Major General successful career in classical, studio and art-rock. Michael Schenker, who happens to be one of my favorite guitar players, is an addict that swerves in and out of recovery. He derailed his own big-time success as the lead guitar player for -UFO- in the late 1970s. He's lucky to be alive and very fortunate to have oportunities to play for his die-hard fans. The Scorpions are great by all forms of measure: Quantity of sales, longevity of career, and universal recognition. People like 'em. Their music is dang great! Diverse, cool, rockin music in massive quantites!

Wow! Great set list! Any info on other band members or were they just a bunch of unknowns? At the show I went to in Santa Rosa California and the show my friends saw in Sacramento California, the singer was Robin McAuly. He was on 2 Schenker albums. (at least 1 for sure) They're great albums, that is, if your not one to poo-poo slick production and syrupy rock'n roll love songs. I love the music on "Perfect Timing"... the other album, I'm not sure of the title.

Wow he really dug deep into the UFO catalog.....which is not a bad thing but I would rather see him dig deeper into the earlier MSG catalog like 'Assault Attack', 'Desert Song', 'Red Sky', 'Dogs Of War', 'Cry For The Nations', "On And On", "Rock Will Never Die", etc.
