-UFO- 9/16/11 at "The Boardwalk" in Sacramento
Set List: Wild, Willing & the Innocent Mother Mary Save Me Let It Roll I'm A Loser Midnight Rider Venus This Kids Aint' No Baby Only You Can Rock Me Too Hot To Handle Love To Love Rock Bottom (way, way extended!) Doctor Doctor (encore)
Phil Moog (singer/songwriter), Andy Parker (drummer) and Paul Raymond (keyboard/bass player) were the only original dudes, but Vinnie Moore and the young bass player did fanastic! Phil looked rather elderly and I thought he'd be too frail or used up to deliver. WRONG! He sang great. My friend's and I were totally amazed at the power and richness of his voice. It was the best show I've seen at the Boardwalk. Totally sold out, packed to the gills. People knew the songs, it was a complete kick-in-the-pants. We got our collective asses rocked. My ears are still ringing! HAA! Vinnie More took on the choicest of all the greatest Schenker solos and did 'em true where appropriate and did up his own treatments wherever else he could. Impressive and very cool! It was a really fun and energetic show and the music simply kicked ass. You folks would've been eating it up.

Sounds like a great show. I can still remember (somewhat) the show they put on back when I saw them (1977)....
Gawd, I'm getting old.

Phil Moog (singer/songwriter), I saw them at the tiny Fat Cat Club in Modesto a couple of days later. Great setlist although it is a shame they did not play 'Shoot Shoot'. Oh & it's Phil Mogg, not Moog.
