and he kicked MAJOR ass. I have seen him at least 6 or seven times since the 70's and this is the BEST show I can ever remember him doing.
Having Derek in the band always makes it better but this time it was even more brutal.
Go if you can before the tour is over....however be warned I am NOT a fan of wearing ear plugs BUT it was FUCKING LOUD and I put them in after 2 bars of the opening tune. Maybe because I was in front row at the tiny Cleveland HOB.

I had heard Derek St Holmes was going to be with Ted this tour. Thanks for the heads up, money's tight this year and I'm not sure if he's even coming to my area, but I'll keep a look out and go if I can. What is it with these guys and playing so fucking loud? I saw Molly Hatchet this spring and they were brutal! I'm all in favor of loud Rock'n Roll, but they were ridiculous. Sounds like Ted is the same way.

I haven't seen Ted since the Damn Yankees days. He is at the Club Casino in Hampton beach later this summer. I was thinking about going and knowing Derek is with him just might tip the scales! I only saw Derek with him once and that was the first Uncle Ted show I went to back in the mid 70's... Every Ted show I've been to has been loud (The Damn Yankees one a little less). I remember driving home from a Nugent concert and the other people in the car talking sounded like they were 25 feet away!

I saw him in Pittsburgh on 8/3 and yes, he did kick ass. I have seen him before but having Derek there made it a special show.
