Steven Tyler’s solo single has premiered on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show. You can hear “(It) Feels So Good” in its entirely in the You Tube video below. It’s the debut solo release for Tyler, who has been working as a judge on American Idol, which also is hosted by Seacrest. In another tie-in, the music video for “(It) Feels So Good” will be broadcast for the first time on the Thursday, May 12 edition of Idol. The clip is directed by the Norwegian-born Ray Kay, who has previously helmed videos for Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Justin Bieber. “I’ve always been a fan of Aerosmith,” Kay told VG Nett, “[so] I [was] really looking forward to working with [Steven].” Of course, Tyler’s solo single doesn’t mark the end of Aerosmith. The band have already begun work on their new studio album (their first of original material since 2001’s Just Push Play) and plan on recording it this summer.
