Wooh Hoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! Great Stuff T!!!!
I started getting into Coop in 1977 when rock & roll was still new to me. I was a Kiss freak & one day I was in a record store with a few friends. There was display of 'The Alice Cooper Show' album & I looked at the cover seen the make-up, a guillotine, & a snake so I gave it a try. I know the album gets a lot of criticism for Alice's performance due to alcoholism but I was blown away by that record especially the kick ass guitar onslaught of Dick Wagner & Steve Hunter on 'I'm 18'. The horror of "The Black Widow" with Vincent Price's narration & the snap of the guillotine during I Love the Dead showed me that Alice Cooper was much more than kick ass Hard rock. I started buying all his albums & learned how important the original band was. I was so into Coop that in my junior year of high school I wrote a 41 page term paper on him which I got a 91 on. Alice & Kiss are my 2 favorites
Thanks T Rexx
