I read today in my email from Dee Sniders House of Hair, that Aerosmith will be performing live on the show.
In a perfect world they would perform something such as Seasons of Wither or Lord of the Thighs. But they probably will play something cheesy like " I don't want to miss a Thing"
Your thoughts on this?

But they probably will play something cheesy like " I don't want to miss a Thing" Your thoughts on this? NO!, In my opinion and in my "perfect world", they would perform something like Sweet Emotion, or "Toys In The Attic", or at the very least "Sweet Taste of India", but I have to hand it to you Blue...yer probably correct in that they'll opt for the sappier sound that they appear to be known for these days. I'd settle for Dude Looks Like a Lady at this point...but in all fairness to the band and fans alike...the glory days are gone and the "Aerosmith" unit is running on fumes from an empty gas tank along with the intestinal fortitidude of the music industry to keep these "has beens" alive for reasons I've yet to comprehend? Thanks Kim

And the saga continues……. It would appear Steven Tyler has just unwittingly destroyed the on-going peace negotiations around the Aerosmith camp.
Some time ago, it was reported that Tyler and band mate Joe Perry had kissed and made up after stresses surrounding Tyler's American Idol work. Then normally placid Tom Hamilton re-ignited things, followed by claims that Aerosmith would actually APPEAR on the show. Apparently this is news to Idol-hating Perry when he told the Boston Herald: "I don't know anything about it. No one's said a word to me."
Absent minded Tyler then admitted that it may have slipped his mind to mention it... "I want to be honest about this and I don't want to get myself in trouble because I haven't asked the guys yet, (but) I'm sure they will."

Ahhh...I'm sure it will come together for them. Now there's a track that they can do for the show! "Come Together"!
