I guess I am going to have to buy a ticket for this tour. I have never seen Judas Priest and as much as I claim to be a rock n roll fan, I better go support them on this last tour.

Just like Kiss and The Who and others who have had farewell tours 3 and 4 times over. This will just fill the seats, then they'll all do something for a year then they'll put out a reunion disc and tour again, mark my words.

All they've said is it the end of world tours. Not splitting up, not the end of shows, not even the end of tours. Just world tours. An official spoksman has said.
“This is the end of Judas Priest doing major world tours – but not the end of the band, thank Heaven.”
Guitarist KK Downing recently said: “People often ask me what it’s like to be on a tour and I always say the same thing. It’s the hardest thing you will ever do – but you wouldn’t change it for the world.
“Travelling becomes such a major part of your life that you feel like a piece of luggage yourself. But when you get to go to places you’ve never been before like Korea, Turkey, Romania and Columbia, you feel like the luckiest man alive.
“These day I reflect on the past when we had to load the touring van ourselves – sometimes in the ice and snow, being afraid we’d get frostbite and not be able to play the gig.
“I remember one winter we had a gig at Hull City Hall in England. We were driving in heavy snow when we hit black ice. The car hit the motorway barriers so hard that it was never able to be driven again. “A passing farmer saved the day by letting us pile into his old Land Rover – and he was kind enough to drive us to the gig.”
