The wife & I just finished watching 'Up the Greek' & we were both pretty impressed with the soundtrack(Stones, Clash, T Rexx, Turtles, Ramones were used in the movie). Was it the best movie soundtrack I ever heard??? ...No(not even close), but it got me thinking that if I was asked to create a movie Soundtrack of say... any 15 songs then what would I use??? So that's my question: What 15 songs would you like to see used in a movie soundtrack?? (If you feel you need a theme such as for a Horror Movie, Action, Comedy...etc then use one ( ex. Write "Horror Movie" & then write your songs)

A "Dazed & Confused" type of movie...
"Back in the Saddle" --- Aerosmith "Straight On" --- Heart "Rock Candy" --- Montrose "There's Gonna Be Some Rockin' " --- AC/DC "I Thank You" --- ZZ Top "Rocket Ride" --- KISS "Shattered" --- Rolling Stones "Come Sail Away" --- Styx "Ebony Eyes" --- Bob Welch "Planet Caravan" --- Black Sabbath "Us and Them" --- Pink Floyd "Everyone's a Winner" --- Hot Chocolate "Night Fever" --- BeeGee's "Dead End Justice" --- The Runaways "I'll Fall In Love Again" --- Sammy Hagar

For a time in the 90's, it seemed like every time I turned to a certain Classic Rock station, they'd be playing EL&P's "Lucky Man". I always thought it'd be a funny gag for a comedy movie to literally have that song playing every time the protagonists tuned in to certain radio channel. To top it off, I'd use that song in its entirety for the closing credits.

OH Sheeit, I didn't read your post all the way until now, Bucky. I'd like to do a narly documentary all about Douhet's theories. It should start with awesome visuals of WWI Zeppelins bombing the shit out of civilians with some Metallica "For Whom The Bell Tolls" Then go in chronilogical order up to the Spanish Civil War and have depictions of the German bombing and anilation of Guernica with Black Sabbath "Hole in the Sky" maybe some "War Pigs" with lot's of back and forth scenes of Pablo Picasso's famous "Guernica" (panning closeups) with archived footage from the actual assualt fade out with "Children of the Grave" and smoldering landscape. Head straight into WWII's infamous Rotterdam Blitz showing Hitler having a temper tantrum and fade into pilot's views of dive bombing along with Motorhead's "Bomber" then show civilians running in droves with Accept's "Balls to the Wall"... Light up the screen with Tokyo's fire storms viewed from above show B-29s in quantities that have a vanishing point into the distance, gleaming, glinting in the sun have Van Halen's "I'm on Fire" blaring away. Show Hiroshima going up in a cinder in slo-mo with the intro of Van Halen's "Everybody Wants Some" have the intro end and the song take of along with a montage of D.O.D. archival footage of nukes blowing all sorts of stuff to hell. That'd be the first half. I already know. I'm strange!
