For me , it is their best album. Reason being is because it is blues based hard rock at its finest. Which is my favorite genre of music. Working Man is one of the best rock songs ever in my honest opinion. I love this album. What are you your thoughts on Rush's debut?

It's actually my favorite album by them. I love every song on that album & the direction of the band. My favorite song is "In the Mood". I still liked what they had become after Peart joined the band up through & including Permanent Wave but lost interest in their direction after that. The first album though is a great piece of Rock & Roll

It's an overrated underrated album. Meaning, those who really like it overrate it, and dime-a-dozen Rush fans underrate it. It's somewhere in the middle of both of those opinions, in my opinion.

Yes. I consider it quite excellent, one of their best.

I LOVE the debut.... I basically like everything the band has done, some better than others, but I have always been able to hang and they've never lost me.
What IS sad, IMO, is that they NEVER played any music like this again(well maybe that EP of covers), I understand they wanted to dofferent things but to NEVER put out any straight ahead rock ever again!?!?!

I love the fact that it's a straight forward rock album. I'd love to see them do something like this again. They have nothing to prove anymore. So why not rock this hard again?
