It won't happen, but they are not Motley Crue anymore. Everything they based the band on they don't live that lifestyle anymore. Even being a kick ass rock band, they really are not anymore. When was the last time they came out with anything that was worthwhile? Its been a long time. To be a Motley Crue, you need to live a certain life I think. Then that carries over and reflects your music. If you are doing shows like Skating with the Stars, do you think they will be able to release another Shout at the Devil? Fuck no.
With Sixx being sober and trying so hard to fit in with the times, do you think releasing an album as strong as Shout or Too Fast for Love would be possible? No again. Yes I know what you are goin to say, they were sober when Dr. Feelgood was created. Well sorry to break it to you, but that is far from their best album in my honest opinion. I think you would have a hard time debating that. Sure it sold alot of records, but the songs on that album are not nearly as raw and tough as the first two.
I am the biggest Crue fan there is, but I think its time to hang it up. They are becoming an emberrasment to the band they were when they first started out. I would hate to go back in time and show them what they have become music wise. They would laugh in disgust and probably bust a Jack Daniels bottle across my forehead for showing them the future of their so called "bad ass" band. Imagine if you told Tommy Lee back in 1982 that he would become a rapper and dj instead of a proud rocker?? He would have never believed you.
