Favourite tune in the 70's? Hmm...do the Bay City Rollers count? Kidding, kidding, Kim! I'd have to say Grand Funk's Aimless Lady. I never heard their version or of this band lol until I heard Badland's live bootleg cover of this song. Ray and Jeff nail this tune. I loved it so much, I had to get GFR's Closer to Home. Did not disappoint. Love it! As for fave tune, right now I'm very partial to Free's Fire and Water. Again, I heard this through a Badlands bootleg. I will say GFR's original is ten times better. Sorry, Jake and Ray.

Favorite album from the 70s is Dark Side of The Moon. It's also one of my favorite all time albums by my favorite group. Last week it could have been Animals though. Dark Side is also my favorite album that Alan Parson engineered. Alan is my favorite audio engineer. I also spell favorite different than Canadians and people from Britain.

Don't really have a favorite tune but my favorite album growing up was (and probably still is) KISS Alive. It opened my eyes to what real music was. Prior to that I liked The Captain and Tennille and Olivia Newton John, stuff like that. Thank the Lord above for KISS Alive!! I've been rockin' ever since.

OMG, how could I have forgotten Cheap Trick?
CHEAP TRICK. CHEAP TRICK. CHEAP TRICK. CHEAP TRICK. CHEAP TRICK. CHEAP TRICK.
I wore out Budokan and Dream Police. Then discovered In Color, Heave Tonight and their S/T. Wore those out too.
Tom Petersson was supposed to marry me, but he chose a gorgeous German model named Dagmar over a star struck lil girl. Heh.

Kiss was everything for me in the 70's & back then "Nothing to Lose" was probably my favorite Kiss song but was it my favorite song back in the 70's??? I'm not sure... 2 other songs come to mind which I wore out the grooves to back then:
"I'm Eighteen" by Alice Cooper from the 'The Alice Cooper Show"' album as I loved the guitar onslaught by Dick Wagner & Steve Hunter on that version.
"Shattered" by the Rolling Stones...I have no idea what it was about this song but I would play this tune 6 times in a row & not get sick of it.
My favorite album would probably be 'Kiss Alive' or 'Rock n Roll Over' but I feel the Rolling Stones 'Some Girls' is the best album of all-time
