Growing up?... I haven't grown up yet!!! haha.
BTO - BTO
Deep Purple - Machine Head
Cheap Trick - In Color
ZZ Top - Tres Hombres
Sweet - Desolation Boulevard
Loverboy - Loverboy
Edgar Winter Group - They Only Come Out At Night
BTO - Not Fragile
Supertramp - Crime of The Century
Cat Stevens - Tea For The Tillerman
ELO - Greatest Hits
Dire Straights - Dire Straights
Styx - Pieces of Eight
...I mention these few as I had them all on 8-track in my teens, and during college, would spend hours doing my graphic design homework and just letting the tapes continue on and on before changing them.
Thanks Kim

Great to see a fellow listener of the same era as myself... Way to go Equinox!... First time I heard Steve Miller was on WLS out of Chicago. John "Records" Landecker gave us the best music ever! Honestly, I have to say it was the same radio station that gave me BTO!!!....yeah...go figure??? I still remember the call letters...then the advert's for the beer that they were promoting...then...listening to BTO! Seriously...had it not been for the American stations... BTO would not have had the noteriety that they gained afterwards here in this country...Thank be to gawd that the great American folks gave that band a chance!!!!!!!! Thanks Kim

Power Age & Walk On Water? Both KILLER major slabs of ROCK for me! Powerage is my AC/DC bible my friend. I need to get the remastered version BADLY. And WAW?? OMG the comeback album to end all comeback albums by any band ever!! IMOA. All those major classics in UFO's catalog song wise & and come back years later with the classic lineup & you put out a KILLER KILLER track like Pushed To The Limit? THAT SONG ROCKS BIG TIME. That's my all time favorite riff by Schenker. Jaw dropping!!

Cheap Trick at Budokan and the Cars s/t. Our bus had an 8-track tape deck. Very kewl bus! My friend Allison and lil bf Bryan would bring their 8-tracks and all of us elementary school kiddies would rock out to those two same tapes over and over.

I freak people out when I tell them what an influence that album had on me a musician. Benjamin Orr's bass playing had a very SOLID impact on my bass playing. Still does.

Frank, Funky...call me crazy, but I still think that the Cars debut album is a classic release all the way. All cylinders were firing on this one from start to finish. Yeah, maybe not concert fodder, but as far as a studio album goes, Ric and Co. set the tone and brought us all into a whole new wave, age of music with this one. Thanks Kim
