Silly question...maybe?
Since we have no choice but to consider Summer as a unique season in itself...we therefore find ourselves adopting a different set of listening trends.
Was there any music that you found yourself listening to, more so than you would have if it had not been so blasted hot and sticky for the last 3 months or so?
I'm thinking that weather may play a part in our listening pleasures depending on factors such as weather, location and personal well being...given the time of year.
Anyone else find that they have, as we do with "comfort food"...a certain brand of "comfort music"?
Thanks Kim

A Lot of newer Country. I had mentioned in another thread about Craig Morgan and Phil Vassar. Alos been getting into Miranda Lambert and Jamey Johnson. Also, been going back to alot of old(er) school 80's Country that I grew up with. I'm thinkin' of starting a Country cover band this fall, but I want to make sure it kicks some serious ass, so I've been actively pursuing some of the greatest rockinest Country to learn for the event. I've surprised myself at how much of the newer stuff is just what I'm looking for.

I fell in love with the band, Murder By Death this Summer. I listened to them over and over. <<<<<Then, when I met her, I fell "in love" with the cellist.
I also played the crap out of the new Danzig.
