Kinda the beginning of the end for this fella in that I wasn't really as up on the cutting edge of newly released material during this period.
I think I was okay with some of the music at the time, but just didn't get as excited as I used to get before the 90's were upon us.
Don't get me wrong, there was some good stuff coming out back then, but I was kind of set in my ways and was pining away for another great Tull or Mac release...haha.
Thanks Kim

1992 I was getting ready to get married the following year but that didn't stop me from rocking out. Kiss Revenge was an unbelievable comeback from 1989's 'Hot in the Shade' album. I was basically listening to the same stuff since the late 80's like Guns & Roses,Kiss,Dogs D'amour,Alice Cooper, Forgotten Rebels, Johnny Thunders, Alice Cooper, Ace Frehley but there are 2 new albums I came across that year that blew me away:
Greenday - 'Kerplunk' - A friend of mine played in a band called the Razzels which were kind of a Punk band & they toured down the East Coast. He kept telling me about this band they opened for called Greenday & that this 'Kerplunk' album was great. I bought the cassette of it & loved it.
Shooting Gallery s/t - I still can't get enough of this album & if you're a fan of that late 80's dirty kick ass rock & roll then search this CD out(it's probably out of print but if you ever see it grab it). I read about them in Metal Edge & they said catch them before their gone because their personal demons would burn them out which they did but the line up was phenomenal featuring Andy McCoy(Hanoi Rocks & Cherry Bombz),Bassist Dave Tregunna(one of my favorite bassists of all-time from Lords of the New Church, Cherry Bombz, & Sham 69),drummer Paul Garisto(Psychedelic Firs), & the amazing vocals of Billy G. Bang. This album defines Sleaze Rock

Hard to say. This was a tweener year for me as 1993 brought new releases by Accept, Mercyful Fate, Fight (Rob Halford's solo band) and Heart, so I KNOW what I was listening to that year. 1992, I think I was full swing into my "Blackfoot RULEZ" period as I had just gotten "Medicine Man" the previous Fall. I was starting to get back into Country music too because Pirates Of The Missisppi, Kentucky Headhunters, Garth Brooks and Hank Williams Jr all had pretty good releases that year or late 1991. I saw Marshall Tucker Band for the first time in the spring of 1992 and they were promoting a decent album, also I think their albums were picked up by AJK (division of K-Tel) about this time so I could complete my collection of them. MTB guitarist Toy Caldwell also released his solo album that year. I was also still into Metallica and Megadeth who had releases that year or late the previous year. Helloween still couldn't get a record deal that would release their albums in North America.
