I actually think it's okay(& I don't mean that in a bad way). It's like my thoughts on Led Zeppelin "What I like I really like & could care less about the rest". That's just my opinion I would recommend 'Sting in the Tail' to all of the classic rockers here for songs like the title track, Raised on Rock, The Good Die Young, Turn You On, & my favorite track "Rock Zone"(which really kicks ass).

New is somewhere between Love At First Sting - Savage Amusement. Better than Savage and weaker than Love. Great album and sounds very 80´s in a good way.

A Tale About the Scorpions
My friends and I, (circ. 1980s) their friends and friends of their friends...and so on made the Scorpions the huge band they are today! When I started to get keen on rock’n roll in my high school days my friends and I would go to Tower Records and browse the offerings. There weren’t any listening booths. There was no way to preview (listen) before you bought anything. We weren’t rolling in dough either so our choices had to be educated in some way. We traded home made tapes and talked to each other about what was cool or what would make our parents cringe. And another way to find out about kick ass music was to hang out at Tower Records when the cool rock’n rollers were on their shift. There was this one certain dude, the resident rock’n roller that had been noticing my purchases over the months. We had a rapport. I’ll never forget when he mentioned the Scorpions and their brand new album “BlackOut”. He went on about how the Scorps had been trying to make it big in the USA. They’ve already a long line of successes in Europe, Japan and everywhere except the USA and the BlackOut album was their final attempt to make it in America and they NEEDED our help. He put that on the store stereo and when that glass broke I was sold. I’d been a little familiar with the Scorps music (Ulrich Roth era) but that BlackOut album was truly a special dose of what my rocker friends and I craved. We ate it up. We made many, many tapes to give away and turn folks onto the Scorpions. From that point on the Scorpions have been nailing the soundtrack of my life and my friend’s lives to a tee. ...and Yes. Even the “Winds of Change” song is embraced here. I was working for a Metropolitan Daily Newspaper as a young buck when the Berlin Wall came down and the Soviet Socialist Army did not open fire upon the revolutionaries at the Kremlin. My coworkers, my peers on the job (all older than me) were emotionally moved and astounded by the history that we were reporting to everybody via the newspaper. Then that song came out and put the events to music. ...and it was the Scorpions! OUR band! Our lakeside, boombox ammo that blared at us while we windsurfed Folsom & Natomas lakes, penned an anthem for all time, denoting the fact that we may NOT actually have to fry in an all out thermonuclear war. The Scorpions weren’t even near done... they cranked out more and more high quality rock’n roll for us to enjoy and get all fired up for. It’s true, they’d had a stinker or two, but the band kept working and touring. I love their music a lot. I’m proud to be a fan for the better part of 30 YEARS! Their final tour is the completion of a full circle that I’ve been a part of. They are PROFESSIONAL ROCK’N ROLLERS. ...newbies, take notes!
