Former LED ZEPPELIN frontman ROBERT PLANT tells Herald-dispatch.com that his upcoming solo album, Mighty Rearranger, with his band STRANGE SENSATION is "A very powerful record," and he thinks new label Sanctuary "can be a great help in pushing these songs out into the great big music machine."
The 12-track album, recorded in Snowdonia and Somerset in the southwestern U.K. countryside, comes out in Europe on April 25th, with a single, ‘Shine It All Around’, due out April 18th. It hits the streets in North America on May 3rd. It's Plant's first studio set since 2002's Dreamland, although his 2003 retrospective, Sixty Six To Timbuktu, also featured some new recordings.
Plant kicks off a short US tour on March 11th in Tulsa, OK. He'll also be delivering the keynote speech and performing at this year's South By Southwest music festival on March 17th in Austin, TX. Meanwhile, a new Robert Plant gig has been scheduled for April 2nd at Warrick Student's Union in Coventry, UK.

It will be interesting to hear, I don't think his vocals are as great as they were years ago, but I'll take a listen.

I've heard it's supposed to be the most Zeppelin-like music he's ever recorded solo. We'll see...
