Hey Snakes,
Wasn't sure if you were referring to the same group or not...
It appears that you are. For what it's worth, I had made mention of the group a couple of years ago here as I was in touch with Ron Chenier, vocalist and co founder of the group.
We emailed each other a few times and he was kind enough to offer up a few free albums, but I told him that I preferred to pay for them as I had been a fan of the original releases back in the early 80's when they were released.
Check out the album "Fleet Street"...now that's a great album! "Thunder In Rock" is a classic in my opinion. Ron seems like a pretty decent, down to earth no-nonsense guy that still performs to this day with the group and I actually received some info from him awhile back stating that they were going to release some new material and do some local touring in Western Canada and wanted to know if I was interested in grabbing one of the discs.
Good Canuck rock & roll! Let me know if you'd like more info, I still have his email addy if you're at all interested in the music.
Thanks Kim

ron@ronchmusic.com Snakes, "Thunder In Rock" is in my opinion, one great tune. Not sure if you have heard this track, but it's really something else...the sax alone will blow you away...trust me...turn it up when you do get it! It's from the Fleet Street release. Ron even put a "post it note" in the album for me... "Hi Kim, Here's your Fleet Street cd. Fist has a new release Bolted Door check it out at the Fist site enjoy" Gotta love it! These guys are truly underrated. Lemme know what happens Snakes! Thanks Kim
