I did this for one of the earlier versions of this forum and had it in a data base but I can't find the file. Anyway, it was pretty interesting.
List your top ten groups or solo artist from 10 -1.
1 being the best. I will give the group or artist at 1 - 10pts, 2 - 9 pts., 3 - 8 pts. and so on.
If you just list 10 not ranked 1 -10 They'll all just get 1 point. After about a week I'll compile a list of Rock n Roll Universe's Forum Top 100(or however many I get) of all time.
Try and list those groups you like not necessarily groups that you think are critically the best, most talented or technically good musicians. That may be the case but don't list a group highly just because they have tons of influence even though you don't listen to or like them much. Just list the ones you like and like to listen to and in your opinion rock the universe.
Too make this easier lets not comment on each others individual top ten list. I know it's probably a precaution not needed on this forum but if anyone comments on someone else's top 10 list theirs won't be counted. Of course comments on the final list are welcome and lots of fun so..... list your top 10.

It won't be a true 100 top all-time if Starz, Moxy, Goddo, Legs Diamond, Silverhead, T. REX, The Sweet, Slade, Angel, Masters of the Airwaves aren't listed in the top 50, other than that it's gonna be RNRU's top 100 "most popular" bands of all time. Sh*t, in my top 100 you guys wouldn't even know 50 of them.  |

I'm the wrong guy to do this because my bands would not make the list. Ever hear HARD NUTZ, MONEY, BUX, HOUNDS, BAD BOY, WHITE WITCH, TRIGGER, BLIND DATE, REX, DIAMOND REO ( Hard rock band from the 70's ).....Those are great bands also in my top 50. What can I say, I'm a freak of nature ! ;D |

I did this for one of the earlier versions of this forum I remember because I saved some of them. I used them for reference on the taste of some of the folks. Sorry, Pete I don't have your list. But for a few here I kept 'em. HA! Let's see... a guy called, BASS63, JesseR72, Jaminjim, and Husky430. Where is Husky? Haven't heard from him for awhile. |

Anyways...
Of course not, we all want to know your top ten. It's hard to leave any out. Thats the challenge, I guess.
It's really fun to get into checking out many bands. My hat is off to you. I wish I would have started doing that sooner. It takes time and money. Sometimes the priorities change and that stuff is lost. It funny that in some cases it's not necessarily for the better.
