Since You really got me is considered by many as the FIRST ever Heavy metal riff in rock, here is some succulent news on Ray Davies and the band:) For all you other Kinks fans,
Apparently, Ray, Dave & Mick Avory are in the studio. Ray & Dave have apparently healed their relationship and Mick is back in the band and says they're in the middle of a new Kinks album! This includes 8 unreleased songs from some point in the dim & distant past as well as new music. No news on who the bassist is, or if the reunion will include a keyboard player.

Hard to read that "purple text on a black background" but what I do gather, sounds like a reunion of monumental proportions!
Good stuff! The Kinks are a force to be reckoned with and embraced not only because of their legacy, but with the impact that they would have in terms of the great music that they would surely be able to deliver these days regardless of who ends up in the groups line up.
Thanks Kim

I'd love to see them. Then I could tell people..."Yea, I seen the Kinks. Maybe not in 1971...But I've seen them!"
