The current lineup of UFO — Phil Mogg (vocals), Pete Way (bass), Vinnie Moore (guitar), Paul Raymond (rhythm guitar, keyboards) and Jason Bonham (drums) — will record their first official DVD in May in Germany. "The band want to know which songs you would like them to perform on the DVD, with the emphasis on songs which have never been played/recorded live before," reads a posting on the group's web site. "They plan to record your top choices in the studio and have the session filmed." E-mail your choices to ufodvd@arrmo.fsnet.co.uk with "UFO DVD" in the subject line.
As previously reported, UFO bassist Pete Way's other band, WAYSTED, have been invited to appear at the Mean Fiddler in London on Friday, February 18 as special guests of THE QUIREBOYS. Also appearing on the bill will be TOKYO DRAGONS.
Since the announcement that WAYSTED's January "Back From The Dead" U.K. tour was postponed, dates are immediately being rescheduled for September, and there are also some festival spots planned during the summer.
WAYSTED have just released their comeback CD, "Back From The Dead", via Majestic Rock Records.

"Shake Them Bones" -AND- "Wild One"

This ought to be great, and I'm definitely looking forward to this..too bad they don't have video of the tour that produced the "Stranger In The Night" recordings though, even if the footage wasn't pristine, that'd be an awesome DVD

Thanks for the info. I hold up the -UFO-'s with Paul Chapman as great rock n' roll. He is undoubtedly NOT Schenker, but there's some soul in his playing nonetheless. The Wild Willing & the Innocent, Is well loved here, as well as Nowwhere to Run. They're downright great. (imo). I featured him in this graphic I put together. On the left side behind Schenker. You may of thought it was Pete Way, but it's Paul.

I've been doing this since 1967 so I know thousands and thousands of great bands that never made it except in my book. How about HUSTLER or TUCKY BUZZARD ?

now i thought i was the only person this Earth who knew this band had existed Another great one, John Sloman did a great job on vocals here, classic , he also did a credible job on Uriah Heep's "Conquest", which is an underrated album in my opinion, barring the 1st track, which is kind of lame, that one's alot better than most critics credit it with being .
