Well, far be it for me to disagree.
You were right all along Jesse.
2 years and nuthin!
It will be an interesting 2 years and hopefully
not bad ones for the country. Hopefully, no futher
wars declared so we can all get down to the business
of focusing on our own business and keep our noses
out of others business. That might help to a degree?
Honestly, that office is going to have to pull
a rabbit out of their collective arses if they
even expect to show their faces come election time.
Somehow, I doubt it.
But hey, they gave him a shot and that's what counts
as fair in love, war and politics. ;D
For what it's worth, nothing much happening up here
North of your border either, but you know us Canucks...
we simply weather the storm and watch the fun just the same.
We wait for your economy to pick up and then we follow suit,
regardless of who may be at the helm here.
I just wonder if, and when the economy does pick up of it's
own accord like it usually does, as in the past, in situations like
this, if they'll give the man and his party any credit at all, or
simply point to the "new Reps", "Tea Baggers" or whatever
they call themselves, the reason for the actual upswing?
Jesse, Pete, as I trust your input on the political front,
are there any thoughts as to whom it may be that will
lead the charge for the next election? I'm interested
to hear your collective thoughts...and of course that goes
for all the other great folks on the forum.
The USA is our brother and I for one was hoping that
the sweeping change Obama spoke of, might actually have
held some truth to it.
We here in Canada, unlike many other neighboring countries
in the world, that actually despise each other, actually care and wish nothing but the best for our Southern neighbor for what
bad happens to them will also happen to us.
We as Canucks may also not agree with everything that
is being stood up for in the US, but by gosh and by golly,
we still respect our neighbor enough to stand up beside them.
I was, and remain positive that this so called "change"
is still possible, but as Jesse mentioned, in somewhat
eloquent terms... ;D, it just doesn't appear to be happening.
Thanks
Kim
