Harden My Heart. Great tune!
Yea...thanks for fixing my type-o too.
I went with Roger Hodgson’s "Had a Dream."
I wish the original Supertramp would get back together and tour.
I went with Hodgson as well Spacel0rd.
I recall when the track came out, it was actually used as
a dance track in some of the pubs I attended back in the
80's. Great tune!
Actually, the entire album, pretty much all comprised
instrument wise by Roger, is a great release.
Made me realize that "Supertramp" was and is greatly
influenced by the man himself. No offense to Rick Davies,
but the "Tramp" sound arguably has RH written all over
the previous releases in my opinion.
I even went out and got the 2nd solo release, "Hai Hai"
and yet again, sounds of Supertramp, even including
the previously unreleased "Land Ho" written by the
the 2 Tramp specialists in 74' and was considered a
leftover I guess?
I was lucky enough to catch Roger in 97' as a solo
act here in town for $15.00
150 people tops...Great show! Just about yelled out
"Puppet Dance" when he was taking requests, but then
some guy in the first row decided to approach Roger
on stage and security intervened.
Show continued on but the atmosphere was rather
strained after that
It's funny, but this was yet another rather inexpensive gig that
ranks up there in my top 3. Roger did not fail to deliver.
The man can really belt out a tune.
I have to agree...I sure wish they'd put their collective differences aside and get the hell back together...they are a force to be reckoned with.
Thanks
Kim
