Hey All, Just stumbled on this purely by chance ..., at Schenker's site ... Seem's Rev Jones is out on Bass & Pete Holmes is out from behind the drum kit. Here's the posting that was at Schenker's site from July 23rd, '09. Still looking forward to the outcome of the Japanese dates he told me he was going to do, in an interview I did with him earlier this year, that would be recorded for a DVD release. He said that line up would be: Michael Schenker - Guitars Gary Barden - Vocals Simon Phillips - Drums Don Airey - Keyboards Neil Murray - Bass Cheers, Al [glow=red,2,300] South America Tour Line-up! 2009.07.23 The upcoming M.S.G. It doesn't matter who's in the band because he always cancels his tours.

LOL Speedy!! - I know what you mean in general, although it seems that now Barden is back in the band, he HAS to keep his shit together!
This was just posted through MySpace after the completion of the North & South American tour dates ...
Cheers,
Al MSG Summer Tours summary... Category: Music Update: 8/10/09 MSG U.S./S.A.Tour Summary 2009: First of all, I would like to send a special thank to all the fans that came out for the M.S.G. US Tour and South American Tour!! We had a total blast and look forward to more tours in both places very soon. Secondly, I would like to thank Michael, Gary, Pete, Elliott, Rev, Slade, Roberto, Ryan, Tony and C-Lo!! The shows were killer thanx to all of your hard work. ("That was easy...")The band and crew was in top form every night. Michael was tearing it up and Gary was belting out like only masters can do. The band was tight and solid night after night. I really had a great time rockin' and kickin' ass with all of you on the road. We had some great musicians join us during the shows onstage and off. Leslie West joined MSG onstage in front of a sold-out audience, and an off the cuff shred fest in New York at the Blender Theatre. That show was totally amazing and will be remembered for a long time. Ex-MSG singer David Van Landing sang with MSG in Cleveland and rocked the house. While Doug Aldridge(Whitesnake) and Uriah Duffy(Whitesnake) joined in the after show celebrations. Also Robin MacAuley(Ex-MSG) tore it up in with MSG at the Key Club in Hollywood. A very special thanx goes out to Ritchie Araki and Peter Mondria for keeping all the fans posted on the latest news and updates!! Also an extra special thanx to: Elliott "Dean" Rubinson and Josh Maloney, Derek Brooks, Adrian Galysh, Lance Cole, Axe, Chef Steve Farot+Co., Chef Jamie,Jason and Emett from Dean TV and Ricci Rocks+ Co., Alan Sosa, Diego, Facu, Julio and Rodrigo!! M.S.G will hit the road again this Sept. for the 3rd leg of the European Tour. Stay tuned here for the latest news, photos and videos...more to be added soon...

It doesn't matter who's in the band because he always cancels his tours. A lot, but not ALWAYS... Admittedly, about half the shows I bought tickets for he actually did show up. (Amazing shows too).
