Thank God I've wanted new music from either Lizzy or Sykes for 10 years. I guess Sykes figured finally he's milked the Lizzy cow dry.

Hey blackers, Well, in the interview I did with Scott a couple of months back - Check my MySpace blog www.myspace.com/cozyal_62 - Scott indicated that they had both - Sykes & he - felt that enough time had past that they could move on to a new chapter of Lizzy. Also hinting about doing new stuff ... Probably why the Lizzy MySpace is Thin Lizzy Now .... Still think Sykes will re-do Blue Murder ..., although word is he's involved in a completely new supergroup ... Time will tell! Cheers, Al www.myspace.com/cozyal_62

I heard Carmine Appice mentioned a renewed Blue Murder awhile back and Sykes shot back that Carmine liked to think it was more his group and had no righ to say it.

Wow, if that's the case then I'm interested to know who Sykes is hooking up with .... You know what? It's funny but our guitarist was just saying last week about if Scott ever pulled out & left Lizzy to Sykes - I coughed in disgust BTW! - that if he got John Norum onboard, it would be kick ass! Wonder if Sykes has maybe thought of getting Norum to do a side project ...? That said, Europe seem to be moving in a heavier / harder direction all the time in the last few years ... Couldn't believe when I saw them listed on the UK's Bloodstock festival bill, with all those other metal acts ... Seems crazy?! Time will tell no doubt! Al
