I have to go out on a limb and mention Steve Miller's "Jet Airliner" as the tune of the 70's for me.
It really was an anthem and a track that took me all the way up to the 80's in terms of decent rock and roll.
To this day, the intro to the song still gives me shivers... especially if it's played loud!
What about you folks?...what's yer fav 70's tune?
Thanks Kim

There's way to many from that era. My favorite song of all-time is "No Matter What" by Badfinger but when I go back in time & think about what song really stood out it's really close between 2 "Shattered" by the Rolling Stones & "I'm 18" by Alice Cooper off of the live 'Alice Cooper Show' album(I love Coop's original band but there was something about the duo guitar work of Steve Hunter & Dick Wagner on that tune that blew me away). Of Course,I must say that I could've selected any Kiss song also because they ruled my life back then.

Like everyone's said there's just way too many good tunes from the 70s to pick just one. That being said Robin Trower's Bridge of Sighs is ONE of my all-time faves.
