Kool....always liked the Carpenters Same here, I grew up listening to them through my parents. She had a great voice.

Definately Cool!
Anyone old enough to remember surfing the AM waves back in the 70's surely had at least a tolerance and in some cases a love for the music of The Carpenters.
It sure beat the hell out of "The Captain & Tenille" in my opinion as Karen's vocals were quite varied in that she, along with her brother could make you feel like you were staring out of a window on a rainy day, and yet lift you up with a track such as "Mr. Postman" or my all time favourite "Only Yesterday".
Colour me sappy, but I'm "cool" with the music!
