My song of the week for last week was one I haven't listened to in a while. "Needle & the Spoon" by Lynyrd Skynyrd(I listened to that tune about 5 or 6 times last week for some reason) I also listened to "Big Smoke" by Kim Mitchell a few times. This thread isn't necessarily about the song you listened to the most,it's about that song really hits you. (ex. You can throw on the 'Back in Black' album & for some reason 'Giving the Dog a Bone' hits you harder than anything else from the album)

I also listened to "Big Smoke" by Kim Mitchell a few times. I have that album, "Aural Fixations" and it is a pretty darned fine release from that other "Kim" Canuck. "World's Such A Wonder" and of course my fave track on the album, "Some Folks" really stand out. The other single release from this one, "America" is pretty good as well, but I think they played it to death upon it's release and I tired of it quicker than the other tracks. *Note the gal in the upper right corner enjoying a "sodi pop"... now if you have the album, flip it over...the cropped image no longer looks like she's enjoying the same thing now does it? Hence the blatant play on words using "Aural" instead of "Oral"...ohhh my virgin ears...haha Actually, I believe I had "aural sex" this morning...my wife got up and stubbed her toe on the bed...all I HEARD her say was "F*ck me"!!! Badda boom...tishhh!!!... Doh! Thanks Kim

Gov't Mule's cover of Joe Henry's Kings Highway off of the Mo' VooDoo ep. Very cool tune, and I've been on a real "Mule" kick as of late.
