I just got Jethro Tull's Benefit album. I think for it's time it was a heavy album. Does any one else have it?

N/P Jethro Tull - Benefit Years ago I had it on 8-track. I never got around to getting it on CD. I think it was pretty heavy for its time.

N/P Jethro Tull - Benefit Pretty much any of the early JT releases are worthy I would suspect. This is one that I don't have. "Teacher" is one track that I have on the M.U. Best Of release...and I have to say it's pretty darned good! I see that on the new release of "Benefit", it includes "Witches Promise"...as a bonus track...most likely from the recording sessions of the day. I have this track "live" on the "20 Years" compendium, and honest to gawd...it's definately a lost gem! Donnie...if yer getting into Tull, ask for more info here on the board, there are a number of folks that can recommend a few of the bands great releases! As most know, I'm stuck on Broadsword and the Beast, but there are others. Thanks Kim

Benefit is an excellent album. Among Tull fanatics, it's considered one of their best.

I'll give Broadsword and the Beast a try.
Thanks Donny
