What was the first concert you went to? My first one was Clash of the Titans with SLAYER,Megadeth,Anthrax, and Alice In Chains 91. It was big thing for me back then I was big into thrash. Though I wish I could have seen the European leg of that tour when it was a all out thrash attack. I felt bad for Alice In Chains. I wanted to see them. But they weren't able to play long because most of the crowd wasn't having it.

Kiss at Madison Square Garden, December 77. Piper (who included a then-unknown Billy Squier) was the opening act. I was 11, so my mom took me. Without a doubt, I caught a second-hand high, as we were surrounded by people smoking weed.

My first real concert was The Oakland Day On the Green Festival in August of 1985. It was still probably one of the best shows I have ever been to with the exception of seeing Iron Maiden.
Headlining was the Scorpions
opening up in order:
Victory(Charlie Huhn singing) Yngwie Malmsteen Metallica Y&T Ratt
If any of you have seen the Metallica 'Cliff Em All' video, where they are doing "For Whom The Bell Tolls"....is the same show I was at.

I kid you not, because I was low on the councilor feeding pole I had to go. Never heard as much schlok, than at that show.
