Does any one remember them? Their lyric were total metal cheese but I like their music. My sister's old boy friend had Heavy Metal Maniac. Later I had to get it. That was one of my first metal albums I owed. I loved it. Now that I play I'd say they were more speed metal not thrash metal.

Years ago in the mid-80's myself & Spanky Madoo went to this little record shop that had just opened in Buffalo that specialized in metal. I remember he bought an Exciter album & I think possibly Kill 'em All. I bought the Runaways Live from Japan record & some band I never heard of but loved the album cover, it was the Wild Dogs. Anyway Spanky played the Exciter album (which may have been Violence & Force) & I thought it was kind of cool. A couple years later one of my friends from work was in a band that used to open for the horrible Cannibal Corpse. Me & this guy worked the over night shift at a super market & constantly listened to music. He was playing Violence & Force one night & I ended up buying the record. I loved "Scream in the Night".

Bucky -- it was Heavy Metal Maniac that I bought. I listened to it a couple of times and then it kinda got lost in my collection. I'll have to find it again and give it a listen. I do remember that I liked the song "Heavy Metal Maniac" but that's about all I remember about it. Kill 'Em All, on the other hand, blew me away!!

Their first three albums were awesome. I particularly used to play the crap out of Violence & Force and Long Live the Loud. Dan Beehler had a cool shriek of a voice and was a novelty as a singing drummer. After the original trio broke up I gave up on the newer incarnations of the band. Everything else never sounded the same.
