Make it three...if not for the title track alone...which I think is THE Randy Rhoads masterpiece.

I went with 'Blizzard of Oz' though it was very close for me.
I took "Blizzard" because I took into consideration looking back at when it first came out. At the time it seemed as though power pop & new wave began gracing the covers of the rock music publications, Alice Cooper(who should've taken the metal route back then despite my loving those early 80's albums) was out of the hard rock picture leaning toward synthesized pop, Aerosmith was over, & Kiss was becoming more bubble gum. Sure, Heavan & Hell was a great album for hard rock/metal but the world of Metal needed an icon & fast. That's where "Blizzard of Oz" came in. With a great new band, phenominal new songs, an album cover that just made you want to pick it up & see what it was about, & of course Ozzy himself making headlines with bad press was the shot in the vein that hard rock/metal much needed. Both albums are phenominal & equal but I feel 'Blizzard' really put Ozzy on the map & that's why it got my vote

Diary by a mile.
Blizzard was a last gasp for Ozzy and it shows. There really only 4 finished tunes on the album.....I Don't Know, Crazy Train, Crowley and Revelation. The rest are just slapped together and unfinished. they didn't have the time or money tio make the album great.
Diary is a masterpiece. You can hear the songs are well thought out and given the time they needed. There actually was a BAND putting that album together.

For the longest time I thought Diary was light years better than Blizzard but lately I have really been digging them the other way around. I guess I still will vote Diary of a Madman. Compele sacrilege that they re-recorded Blizzard using Trujillo and Bordin instead of Daisley and Kerslake. Ozzy should be ashamed of himself and stand up to that bitch of a wife for once.

Both great albums....but 'Diary...' to me is better. Better songs, better sound and you could see Randy matured somewhat from the first album. I also think lyrically it was some of the best stuff Daisley wrote.
