I just picked up this 3 Disc set & love it. It brings me back to the early mornings before school back in the early 70's. I used to fight with our aentenna to pull in the Canadian station it was on (I think it was CHCH from Hamilton) I also heard a new 3 disc set will be released sometime this month. Even though this was a kids show I still think it's cool & I notice SCTV may have borrowed a few ideas from this show

Mad Monster Party was pretty cool & I'm surprised it never caught on as well as it should have. Hilarious House of Frightenstein was actual characters (creator Billy Van played most of the characters) & was around in the early 70's.Vincenr Price was the Narrator who introduced all of the skits while standing or sitting outside the castle always in a rain storm. The Wolfman was always one of my favorites because my older sister(who I thought was really cool compared to my other sisters) was into the "Groovy" music scene & the Wolfman was a DJ who spun the hits from back then & while the song was playing he would play a Bat Guitar in front of a Psychedelic screen. My Saturday Morning/Afternoons(11 AM - 3PM were always Hilarious House Of Frightenstein,NWF Pro Wrestling(which featured matches from Detroit's Big Time Wrestling),Maple Leaf Wrestling, & American Bandstand
