I was watching VH1 Classic the other day and I saw a Gary Moore video. I thought the song was pretty good. I wasn't that familiar with the song or him and found the general info about him on the web and allmusic etc.
I'm curious what you people here think of him.

VH1 Classic plays 2 Moore Video's, "Ready for Love" off his AFTER THE WAR album, the other title escapes me this minute, but it's an older song, I would have to stand up to figure it out, and I'm way to lazy right now, almost coma. I remember the other video being filmed in a warehouse during the day, I have it on VHS somewhere. ...Gary is one of the best guitarist around. All his Albums ( Rock & Blues ) are worthy, never had a bad one. His work with Thin Lizzy was also great, maybe that's why I have about 20 Gary Moore cds ! UPDATE: I looked, the other video is "I'm always gonna love you" off his CORRIDORS OF POWER album My 2 favorite Gary Moore CDs

ALL OF GARY MOORE'S STUFF ARE WORTH SEEKING OUT. HIS BLUES STUFF IS UNREAL. FOR THIN LIZZY TRY BLACK ROSE.

Gary Moore's hard rock has been familiar to me for many years. Corridors' of Power, mentioned previously, is potent stuff and was remarkable during the era of it's debut in the age of guitar hero mania...
It continues to be great. I've never ventured back to the Thin Lizzy, membership... I have put a couple of his blues Cd's into my collection as of late and they are very great, just as Major M. Mason stated.
