Poison's Rikki Rocket tells KNAC.COM that it is official; White Lion has been removed from this Summer's Poison/Ratt co-headlining tour.
Sweden's glam-rock revisited band Vains of Jenna have been selected to step into the opening slot on the tour.
White Lion (a.k.a. Mike Tramp) was reportedly removed due to a threat of legal action by former White Lion guitarist Vito Bratta over the use of the White Lion name.

I saw this tour this year. I was glad "White Lion" was dropped and Vains Of Jenna were added, they're a great band. White Lion is just a shell of it's former self.

Yeah apparently Vito Bratta broke his silence last summer on the Eddie Trunk XM show. He claimed he owns 50% of the name and Mike Tramp never asked permission to use it. Mike Tramp called into Trunk's show the following week and said he challenged Bratta to take legal action and try and stop him from using the name....and sure enough that's what Bratta did. Mike Tramp doesn't sound to bright if you ask me....
