I wished they were alittle more hardcore. I actually have a harder version of "Aint Comin Home" and it beats the album version by a mile... And Mary Jayne I like how it sounds harder than the other songs. Here is a review: allaccessmagazine.com/Issue23/Silvertide_Review.htm

Check 'em out Eilene I got TOTALLY STOKED just listening to their tunes on that video presentation.
I'm willing to drive over the Sierra summit in the middle of winter to see them jam live.

You won't be disappointed trexx. Except with the fact that they're not the headliner. Also check out the video for "Aint Comin' home" which is in the other Silvertide thread or can be seen on Launch or MTV.com or the Silvertide web site. You'll be seeing the show a couple weeks before they head this way so I hope I can count on a review.

This was exactly how I felt after their show. "THESE BOYS ROCK! Yes, we saw the past AND the future of Rock & Roll in one spectacular evening. By the time their shit kicked in, their souls were left bleeding on the stage. That was just THE FIRST SONG"

Unfortunately it's the middle of the week and the middle of winter "again". But since I'm still just freelancing, I have opportunities that I've never had in twenty six years. I relish the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a seriously fierce up and coming rock-n-roll outfit such as this. Once before it happened. That was the Def Leppard experience. That was a trajectory that blasted beyond any expectations and Silvertide, in my opinion comes across in their video presentation as the embodyment of all that is great in high energy rock music and will be nothing less. The dudes being so young and great already is exciting just like when I first heard "On Through The Night" for the first time, realizing that the average age of the musicians was 18. It proves our music RULES! (imo) BTW- Why is this thread so FLIPPEN' wide?

That's what I was thinking when I saw them that these guys could blow up and I'm lucky to be seeing them in a small venue before they're huge. It was also refreshing to see in this day of over produced under talented bands that they are so freakin' amazing live and sound great. The CD is the best album I've bought in the last couple of years and it's only a fraciton of the live experience. I'm not worried about over hyping them because I can't. They flippen Rock!!! I don't know why this thread appears wide to you it looks o.k. to me?

When I was at Van Halen links alot of people didn't like them because them being so inexperienced and doing drum solo's and such. They have proven they are very confident in themselves but yet down to earth from what I hear. The thing is alot of people that are bashing them for these things seemed to have enjoyed these things when they where younger. A rock group is supposed to play with balls if you know what I mean.
