Anyone here an XM fan? I got it around December of so and I couldn't be happier with it. Formats I can live with. Hawkwind, Marino, P.T., Gov. Mule, occasional Bloodrock, Yes, Genesis, etc., it rocks! Alot of long forgotten things I haven't heard in years. A well spent $9.95 a month.

I got the Satallite radio for christmas this yr. We returned it. We needed so many parts. A plug to make my cd player a cassette than another part and a antenna that you leave on top of your car. I know I woould end up losing it or it getting stolen. Wound up costing over 300 hundred dollars. Thinking about trying another satellite system. What kind are you using?

Eilene, I've got a Delphi Ski-Fi. Pretty much a standard setup. I was more interested in Tunes for the home and went with this. There's also a car adapter kit available for this Delphi unit and I guess that's the unit you tried. If I was interested in XM for my vehicle I would go with an XM ready head unit. There's many choices, and that way you pull the face off it when you get out, derailing theft. Whether you choose XM for the home or car, You should be able to be up-and-runnin' for under $150. Simple setup for the house. This Delphi plugs in the back of the Yamaha via RCA jacks, and the supplied satellite antenna is located where the signal is strongest. Mine works fine layin' behind my 'puter desk. What's piping out of my Klipsch now? Deep Tracks, Channel 40; Skynyrd; Honky Tonk Night time man.

Thanks we are going to look into it again. At the time we were just annoyed because we has to go back to Best Buys and keep on buying something and nobody seemed to know anything about it.

Yeah, that sounds pretty annoying. Maybe this will help with any questions you might have. Hope it comes together for you. Satellite radio is worth every penny; 66.246.14.172/phpBB/index.php
