I voted for Show and Tell.... Velvet Revolver was close..... but I simply just enjoyed Silvertide better. Honkin on Bobo was close... People have a heart attack because it isnt the true blues.... But is a Aerosmith album. I can't understand why some fans think a band should be totally pigeon holed into one thing.... Makes no sense to me.

Proto-Kaw's Before Became After is my favorite for the year. Megadeth's The System Has Failed is probably number 2 for me. But it was certainly great news that Tesla, The Scorpions, Dio, and all the bands listed had really good albums this year. Rock-and-roll ain't dead yet.

That was just released this year? Hmmmmm, it'd be a toss up for me then between that and Avril lavigne's "Under My Skin". Two totally different albums, but both are damn near flawlees in their own styles. I don't have most of these albums, but from what I've heard from Tesla and Aerosmith, I'm not impressed enough to give either my vote. I like what I've heard from Velvet Revolver, but not enough to get the album yet. Don't think I've heard the others.
Another honorable mention would be Marshal Tucker Band's "Beyond The Horizon".

I went with Velvet Revolver. I have this CD, and it's pretty good. The two songs that they play on the radio are definitely the best songs on the CD. Close second is Silvertide, but I didn't buy their CD yet, and I only know the one song that they play on the radio is awesome!!

Velvet Revolver for me...Dio's was very good as well. Haven't heard most of the other ones, but will have to check out Silvertide.

I loaned out my Scorpions new one before I heard it much. But I like it...
What about Alice Coopers?
...and did Dream Theaters' Train of Thought come out in 2003?

What about Alice Coopers? ...and did Dream Theaters' Train of Thought come out in 2003? THOSE WERE BOTH LATE 2003 RELEASES. I STILL LISTEN TO BOTH OF THEM.

Alice Coopers latest album is very good...straight ahead rock'n roll, much like his earlier material. Yes, Dream Theaters Train of Thought came out in late 03...

I voted before I had the Silvertide CD or heard them. I would definately vote for Silvertide. Take one away from the Scorps and give one to Silvertide.
