I've been listening to Fanatic quite a bit. Heart's best album in a really long time! I like it. There are some really good songs here!

I LOVE this album!!! It rocks from front to back, top to bottom. It feels like Kiss has come full circle after nearly 40 years

UNION's 2 studio albums, "Union" and "The Blue Room".
Union is/was Bruce Kulick (ex-KISS) and John Corabi (ex-Motley Crue).

Okay OKay I prefer Spicy Brown Mustard pn my crow sandwich. My son bought this album on release day & has been hounding his old man all week to buy it. Yep damn good album. A return to early form for sure. Or you could just give me some Franks Hot Sauce.... I put that S@#$ on every thing!! After years of weirdness from the VH brothers, their unscrupulous treatment of Mike Anthony & Sammy Hagar, and when I learned that the entire new album was basically re-worked versions of demos from 30 years ago, I was very skeptical of any enjoyable future with Van Halen. I must admit now that I honestly ENJOY this album and I cannot seem to stop listening to it! I've played this album at least once every single day since it's release (I skip over "Tattoo" though). It's a fun record and the damn thing ROCKS!!!!....There, I said it!

When it comes to enjoying vintage Roth-era VH vs. "Van Hagar" (which I like/liked very much!) I choose vintage Roth-era VH...
...Having said that, I agree 100% with Sammy.

"Tattoo" sounds like something from DLR's career going down the toilet from the early 90s. IMO, "Tattoo" falls flat on it's face. Chickenfoot, however, sounds like a band that really has their shit together. IMO, very reminiscant of Van Hagar at their peak

Hi everyone Based on your suggestions, I have now obtained the 2 Great White albums, and Matthew Sweet/Susanna Hoffs album Vol. 1 and I also got Vol.2 All 4 albums are very good! The Sweet/Hoffs albums were pleasant surprises since I had never even heard of these before, and I think these are very good! It turns out I already had the Honkin' On Bobo, I forgot I had it! Thanks for your suggestions, they are great! Keep em coming if you think of any others

Sammy Hagar has accused Van Halen of using tapes of Michael Anthony’s vocals on their reunion tour with David Lee Roth.
Blabbermouth report that Hagar has said: “Those vocal harmonies on the last tour were Mike on tape. Mike should’ve reamed them for it. Wolfie don’t sing like that, and Ed sure as hell don’t. Go on the Internet and listen to Ed’s voice live from the reunion with me. Hear him sing on When It’s Love and some of those songs. Ed can’t sing, and his voice is shot if he can, from cigarettes and booze anyway.”
Anthony was replaced on bass by Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang for the 2007/8 tour.
Hagar also added that he doubts there will be a new Van Halen studio album, something the band have been working on for a while.
“They’ve been working on that record for a year and a half or whatever, and they keep postponing and postponing it. I just know that Wolfie, Dave and Ed are not the Van Halen that the world wants to see. To do it with David without Mike was a horrible decision, but those guys haven’t made a good decision since I left the band.”

Only one.....but it was GREAT
Foo Fighters w/ special guests Motorhead
Not only did I have a wonderful time, I was also very impressed. Both bands were amazingly tight and they held nothing back! Oh, and the Foo's played for nearly 3 hours!!!!
