Hard to believe, but here it is December already. With the end of the year fast approaching, what albums do you feel are the best of 2007?

The first few that came to mind were actually releasedin 2006. I"m usually about a year behind but here's the ones off the top of my head I like so far released in 2007.
Sixx: A.M. - The Heroin Diaries The White Stripes - Icky Thump Scorpions-Humanity: Hour 1 The Answer - Rise The Traveling Wilburys Collection
That's all I got now.. I'm sure I'll think of more.

To my everlasting shame I completely forgot what is one of the best, if not THE best, melodic hard rock album of the year, bar none.........GOTTHARD - THE DOMINO EFFECT[/b] If you haven't heard this album then I strongly urge you to find it....grab it with both hands, turn it up and lose yourself. It doesn't come much better.

I'll go along with The Travelling Wilburys re-release as well and add Quo's "In Search of the Fourth Chord", and Springsteens "Magic" as pretty decent offerings for 07'. I must say that I was a little disappointed however with Fogerty's "Revival" album... C'mon John...you can rock a little harder than that buddy!!! Thanks Kim

Another really good one that came out this year was 'Foghat Live II'. MUCH better than you might think, and if you like to rock, is well worth picking up.

I think the only new albums I got this year were Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, and Peter Criss.
So I guess I could nominate FF & VR.....but I certainly would not nominate PC.

Out of everything I picked up this year I finally have my pick for album of 2007.I just recieved in the mail the other day from amazon.ca here it is my pick for the album of the year(drum roll please): This is Kim's 11th solo release since his Max Webster days & by far his best solo album. The album rocks out on every track. There is not one weak song on this album.I really liked Bonnamessa's "Sloe Gin", Springsteen's "Magic", & Patti Smith's "Twelve" but I'll take Kim's new CD over all of them. His guitar work is phenominal on this one.
