Hank Williams Jr-Hank Live is probably the worst for me.
Live albums that, while good, I felt were disappointing. Shoulda been better. Gamma Ray-Alive '95 Blackfoot-Highway Song Live Savatage-Live In Japan The Outlaws-Hittin' The Road Live Helloween-High Live

The worst live album I can think of....which just so happens to be my favorite band is Iron Maiden's 'A Real Dead One'. This album contains songs from the the debut through 'Powerslave'. The set list is classic but the performances are terrible and the band sounds disjointed and loose. I chalk this up mainly due to the fact that Adrian Smith is not in the band. Adrian was and is the best rhythm guitarist in the band. Live I feel he really held the band together with his tight performances. He was the glue that held it together. When Adrian was there Dave Murray was forced to play better. With Janick's loose and sloppy style it was evident it rubbed off on Murray. The album is an utter trainwreck...
Dio-At Donnington UK: Live 1983 & 1987
The good thing about disc one is that it is the original band featuring Vivian Campbell. Vivian is a monster and plays very well. Issue is not the performances of the band. The downside is out of the 12 tracks you only get 7 full length songs and snippets of other songs and two solos. One being the always boring Vinnie Appice solo...who while a solid drummer....his solos were probably only more interesting than the drummer from Iron Butterfly. The second half of the set seems like a long medley. Disc 2 is much the same with less interesting songs from 'Dream Evil' mixed in and Goldy just over plays throughout. I remember being excited when this was released and being very disappointed when I heard it.

I think Jesse hit it on the nailhead. Eagles double live album was very bland also.

I forgot about Molly Hatchet "Live At Rockpalast 1996". Performances are solidly good to great, but the mix is total shit! First few songs, the keyboards and backing vocals are way too loud. Guitars eventually get into the front of the mix, but the rhythm guitar always seems to be louder than the leads. I never did listen to the whole thing.
