It's not that I forget that certain songs are great, but when I haven't heard a song for a long time and/or haven't heard it in a long time out of the context of its original album sequence, I tend to lose perspective as to just HOW GREAT a certain song is. This one came up on my iPod today while in shuffle mode and blew me away like it hadn't blown me away since the first time I heard it in High School. I thought I'd share in case any of you guys hadn't heard it in a spell.

I actually first got into this album about 2 years ago. I know...I was around 28 years late to the party.

Great Stuff...I also like The Dark album by MC. I don't have anything else besides those 2 albums but really like both Singer David Wayne and guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof left after "The Dark". "Blessing In Disguise" and "The Human Factor" with Mike Howe singing are both great albums well worth seeking out. (Vanderhoof still co-writes). "Hanging In The Balance" wasn't quite as good overall, but did contain one or two of their best songs ever IMO. MC broke up after that, but regrouped with the original line up in ......I think 1998 for "Masterpeace". Better off just downloading the song "Into Dust". I think they did one more album with David Wayne before Ronnie Munroe took over on vocals, but I don't have it. "Weight of The World" is an instant classic album. "Light In The Dark" is decent, but not classic IMO. They might have another album or two that I'm missing. Vanderhoof is the only original member now. Jeff Plate (Savatage/Trans Siberian Orchestra) is their current drummer.

Here is "Fake Healer" from "Blessing In Disguise". Different singer, same great Metal! One of the best songs in the catalog IMO.
