In case anyone was wondering where I've been the past few weeks, my wife passed away on the morning of Friday September 13th. I only confided in a few of you, as I don't like to bother other people with my problems, but she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in January 2011 just 3 months after we were married. Maybe it'll make sense now why I've been bitchy the last few years. In the grand scheme of things, to live 2 years and 9 months with advanced stage pancreatic cancer is nothing short of a miracle, but it still stings like hell now that she's gone. When we got married, I shared some of our wedding pictures with you guys, but they hardly did her beauty justice. After she died, I got together the best pictures I possibly could for her funeral as we had a closed casket viewing (you do NOT want to see what pancreatic cancer does to you!). Here's what the funeral home did with those pictures. Hopefully the video will play better on your computer than it did on mine. I can't seem to post the video, here's the url: hosting-24900.tributes.com/flash/ssp/slideshowpro.swf?paramXMLPath=/video/settings/2421162

Thanks for the kind words guys. I didn't mean to bring everyone down with me, but I felt I needed to get it off my chest with you folks before I could move on and join/start discussions again with you all on our assorted Musical topics.

No worries my friend. Situations like that put life in prospective. We're here for you if you need it. Sometime music has to take a back seat.

It may not seem like much on your part, but it means a lot to me. In her final weeks, Pam was worried about being forgotten. It has been my mission since she died to make sure that, not only is she not forgotten, but that more people get to know her than ever! Cancer is a bitch. I can't think of a worse way to die.

Hey Jesse….just now reading this. I am very sorry for your loss. I hope time is healing and making it easier for you. I'm not sure if you can call it "healing" but I'm plugging along. I've been quite busy with a new job, a new band....and my old band. Keeping busy helps. Whenever I get a chance to sit and think for a while, it usually doesn't end well. So, better or worse, I've been spending most of my free time at the bar. Makes me sound like a drunk, but it helps just to be around people. Thanks again.

At least you are keeping occupied…..if you were not it would probably be worse. Hope the new job and the bands are going well for you.

I reached out to Jesse on Facebook....sent him a request. I don't think he is very active on that either. I think his last post was about a year ago. I hope he makes his way back on the forum. I always enjoyed his posts. I hope he is doing well.

Yeah...he still has not responded to the request so that makes me think he is not very active on Facebook. Totally understand. I will keep trying every so often.
