I did have Steve Perry's but my dog ate it. (not joking)
I have an 8 by 10 glossy that Ronnie James Dio autographed for me. Its my most prized rock n roll item I have.
I have 4 of the 5 original members of Starz autographs on a reunion tour poster that I won off of this site a few years ago. Its my second favorite possession.
I have Bruce Dickensons autograph twice. And Dave Murray's.
I have Tim Buchman of BTO's autograph inside my Van Halen 5150 tour book.

I got some autographs in the 80's...Blackfoot...Eddie Money....but I learned long ago if you don't act all "fanboy" towards people they are more likely to hang for awhile.
I never ask for autographs anymore and have been rewarded with extended conversations.

Steve Perry, Brian Greenway and Gary Moffatt of April Wine. I had Don Airey and Tommy Aldridge, but it was in a magazine and I don't have it any more. Geddy Lee from Rush on the cover of the Test For Echo Cd...

I never have asked for autographs, but I did buy one album, "The Pat Travers Mini Album You Missed" with all the band members signatures on it. Tommy Aldridge & Pat Thrall had moved on at that time, but I got Peter "Mars" Cowlings who had been with PT from the beginning. Jerry Riggs was playing guitar & I'm not sure who the drummer was, can't read his signature. This signed album did come from the same show that I attended, & I bought the album from my friend Jerry Scott, who ran Relic Records at the time, who the album was also signed for. The price? $20.00. Why not? PS We partied in the bar untill past 4 AM that night. Two hours after closing. Great fun!

I never actually ask for autographs either. They are either on a piece of memorabillia I own by that band or an album sleeve or something. Too be honest I am not impressed at all by rock bands in a hero worship type of way. Most of them come across ok & if you can have a conversation with them for any amount of time, some of them come across pretty cool. Many bands I have met, I haven't asked for autographs but had a nice conversation. The worst I have met was Bruce Dickenson. He was an arrogant prick. The best was Lemmy, Status Quo or Ginger from The Wildhearts. True gentleman.

Other than a couple of non-descript signatures, such as one or two from Canada Revenue stating that I had better pay those back taxes or it's off to the hoosgow...signed "The Auditor General", or a couple from former jilted lovers lovingly penned on a "Dear John" letter telling me that I'm a loser, lousy lover and stuff and maybe the one indicating that "we're outta cat food ya freakin' bastard"...signed "Fluffy The Cat",... I can honestly say that I never had the distinct opportunity of getting anything worthwhile regarding an autograph. I have to agree with Speedy in that I would find it much more rewarding to not ask for an autograph, but instead, opt to spend a few quality moments with an artist / musician and come across as a person more interested in the person themselves instead of placing emphasis on the all important autograph. Autographs are transferable and yet a personal encounter is one that will last a lifetime to those that had the opportunity to spend precious time with and can always be remembered fondly and spoken about over a lifetime. Granted, there are cases where autographs are a commodity to be reckoned with, take for example the guy featuring a baseball on the Antiques Roadshow...it had all the names of a great team lineup of yester-year and it turned out to be worth close to 100k! The cash would work out great for the grandkids and call me crazy...but give me 20 minutes in sharing a beer with Francis Rossi or Ian Anderson for example, anyday over the cash! Thanks Kim

Thanks Kim We saw Styx at the Foxwoods resort awhile back, and she went out to the rip-off err merchandise stand outside the hall and surprised me with it. I appreciated that she was thoughtful and made the effort. I actually DO have a pretty good idea of it's general vicinity.

I have a pickguard with Warren DeMartini and Doug Aldrich's autographs.....hung out with both of those guys during NAMM at the Grove theater in 2010.
I got the Sandoval brothers of Armored Saint to sign my CD copy of March Of The Saint. Jeff Duncan of Armored Saint singed my copy of Symbol of Salvation.
John Sykes and Scott Gorham singed my copy Of Thin Lizzy's Life/Live CD back when I saw them in Louisiana in 2000.
Back in the 80's I had autographs from Extreme, Dirty Looks, Tora Tora, MSG....but I don't know what happened to them.
I still have a tour shirt that Dick Dale signed.....that's all I can remember

Somewhere I have a bunch of Dimebag's guitar picks he used on that last Damageplan tour. Damageplan played the club I worked at in New Orleans and I worked that show. I got a bunch of those picks with his name and Damageplan logo. His guitar tech took a knife and scratched them up so he could grip them better. I think most of them I got off the floor of the club from him throwing them into the crowd. As you know that was the last tour he did and was tragically killed months after that show I worked. I am glad I got as many as I did.
