So...I am feeling this new Mellencamp...and it might be the best album by a SOLO artist whos been around for 30 or more years.
So...i ask u...Whats the best album by a SOLO artist who's been around for at least 30 years at the time of that album's release?

Rob Halford's "Resurrection" is dang, scary good. No doubt. Priest should have continued in that vein after he re-joined.

Robin Trower - Go My Way or Living Out of Time Frank Marino - Real Live Ian Hunter - Rant or Shrunken Heads Robert Plant - Mighty Rearranger Leslie West - Blue Me
Not sure if these meet your requirements but strong albums +30 years into their careers.

Eric Clapton - From The Cradle Eric's released a lot of boring albums, but this blues album is pretty damn good.
Alice Cooper - The Eyes of I have dismissed Alice's late 80s foray into metal, but someone told me I would like this, and they were right.

Yeah, I've been meaning to check out a few more of his more recent titles. I just remember that Trash was, for the most part, a piece of shit.

Cheers, Kim!! To most others here I would seem to be invisible. I don't like a lot of Springsteen...but that new song I keep seeing on VH1 Classic, (something like) Girls in their Summer Clothes(?), isnt too bad.
